The Enterprise Risk Management group is looking for a student to work closely with the Credit Risk and Insurance Group. The incumbent will participate in the following activities:

• Update and organize counterparties’ ratings in credit files;
• Update counterparties’ financial information in the risk management system;
• Research market and counterparty specific information online;
• Interpret financial ratios and write financial analysis for new and current counterparties;
• Assist in developing and updating reports in Microsoft Access application;
• Assist in verifying information for the renewal of insurance policies;
• Perform various data analysis.

Requirements:

• Registered as a full time cooperative program student for the winter 2009 work term;
• Have completed second or third year of university studies in accounting, finance or administration;
• Basic knowledge of financial statements;
• Intermediate level knowledge of Access and/or SQL programming.

• Resourceful, organized and shows initiative;
• Ability to deal with a number of priorities;
• Ability to work with minimum supervision and in a team environment;
• Knowledge of Excel, Word and Outlook tools;
• Bilingual (English and French).
